Well we’re nearly a week into term so I’ve completed registration and all the usual start of year faffing. This means that my module choice has finally been confirmed:
Semester 1:
| CS31310 | AGILE METHODOLOGIES | |||||
| CS33110 | SM REAL-TIME SYSTEMS | |||||
| CS35110 | INTERNET: ARCH+OP | |||||
| CS35710 | UBIQUITOUS COMPUTING | |||||
| CS39400 | MAJOR PROJECT | |||||
| SE31410 | SERVER-SIDE SOFTWARE |
Semester 2:
| CS35910 | INTERNET ADMIN | |||||
| CS38010 | PROF ISSUES-SOFT ENG | |||||
| CS39440 | MAJOR PROJECT | |||||
| SE33010 | FORMAL METHODS IN SO |
CS39440 is actually a 10, 30 credit split over the two semesters giving me a balanced 60 credits each term. So far this term my modules seem fairly intresting. I think SE31410 being purely assignment assessed is going to very hard work in a semester with a lot of final year project stuff going on. Most of the other modules are nearly 100% exam based. Ubiquitous computing does have a pre-exam research exercise which we’re then allowed to take notes on into the exam.
In contrast to the sun of last week, this week the weather has turned very windy with some cold and wet! Our house is pretty chilly at the moment!
